Most EPCs don't maintain a standing process safety team. When a capital project scope includes HAZOP facilitation, LOPA, SIS review, or PSM program development, you have two options: build the capability internally for this project, or subcontract to someone who already has it.

We've been subcontracted by engineering firms and EPCs on projects ranging from grassroots LNG facilities to refinery expansion projects. We know how to work inside your project management system, deliver to your schedule, and produce deliverables that meet your client's requirements — without creating scope disputes or communication problems.

You stay the prime. We stay in our lane. The client gets work done by people who've actually operated the units being designed.

How We Work With EPCs

We operate under your project management system, use your document numbering, and deliver to your IFC/IFR/IFA schedule. We attend project progress meetings as required, interface directly with the client's process engineering team, and produce deliverables that can be incorporated into your project document register without rework.

Confidentiality

We operate under NDA as a matter of course on all subcontract engagements. Client names, project details, and proprietary process information stay with us. We do not reference EPC subcontract work in our marketing without explicit permission.

Layers of Protection Analysis for all scenarios requiring risk reduction. SIL assignment per IEC 61511. Integrated with your SIS design contractor or owner engineer.

SIS Design Review

Independent review of SRS documentation, logic solver architecture, sensor and final element selection against LOPA-derived SIL targets. IEC 61511 Phase 1 support.

P&ID Safety Review

Systematic safety-focused markup of P&IDs for relief system adequacy, control philosophy, isolation gaps, and instrument ranging. Delivered as marked-up drawings with comment register.

All 14-element PSM program documentation for new facilities or program gaps identified during owner-operator transition. Written to be operational at startup, not at the first audit.
